CascadeAve is an independent guide to the Cascade Avenue and Cascade Road corridor in Southwest Atlanta.
We started this site to be a straightforward, honest resource for the people who live on, work on, and visit the Cascade corridor — covering food, events, small business support, parks, transit, and neighborhood history. Our guides are written and fact-checked by hand; where we could verify a specific fact (a trail distance, a bus route, a historical date), we cited it, and where we couldn't verify something with confidence, we left it general rather than guessing.
What we're not
We are not affiliated with the City of Atlanta, MARTA, or any neighborhood organization mentioned in our guides. We don't accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage of a business.
Our business directory
We previously published a set of sample business listings that were placeholders rather than real, currently operating businesses. We've removed them. We're rebuilding the directory from scratch with only verified, real businesses. If you own or know a business on the corridor, see our guides page or email hello@cascadeave.com to be considered for listing.
Corrections
If you find an error in any guide — a closed business, an outdated bus schedule, an inaccurate historical detail — please tell us at hello@cascadeave.com. We'll fix it.
